Our Pub
You will always get a very warm welcome from our team at the George and Dragon in Alrewas.
Built over 300 years ago, the family friendly George and Dragon is steeped in history and tradition.
With real fires to keep you warm in the winter and a lovely beer garden to enjoy when the weather is nice, the George and Dragon is the perfect place to relax and unwind all year round.
Our tasty seasonal menus, as well as Sunday roasts with all the trimmings and regular curry nights mean you will always find something to tempt your taste buds.
Regular favourites such as burgers, steaks and fish and chips are available all year round. And for the kids our ‘Little Monsters’ menu has plenty on offer for even the fussiest of young eaters.
There’s lots to see and do in the local area. Alrewas is home to the National Memorial Arboretum, a woodland landscape with a collection of nearly 400 memorials to those fallen in service.
And there are lots of attractions nearby including Tamworth Snow Dome, Twycross Zoo and Drayton Manor Theme park all within a 30 minute drive from our pub. We are also close to the Derbyshire Dales, Alton Towers and Gullivers Kingdom.
